Life is a beach…

D'Terrace is one block away from the beach. No need for bringing drinks, food, beach chairs, towels or umbrellas down to the water. The beach clubs: Mantamar, Green Chairs, Blue Chairs and Sapphire offer all these amenities for a fee. While at the beach, be prepared for the vendors hocking their wares. Don’t be afraid to say, “No Gracias…” unless interested. Haggling is expected. Parasailing, jet skiing and paddleboard renting are all available. A walk to the pier and inquiring about snorkeling, diving or deep-sea fishing is a possibility. Excursion to Yelapa???

Tired of staying at the Blue Chairs Hotel, Vallarta Shores or the Tropicana?

D'Terrace is a quiet location. No noisy corners or bus noise to deal with here. Located on a peaceful dead end street across from the Tropicana Hotel, this location is close to shopping and restaurants. Your dining options are endless including Italian, Mexican, Seafood and Continental cuisines. In addition, there are many casual sandwich shops, taco stands, mini-markets and coffee shops just a short distance away. Enjoy meals sitting on the sandy beach or, cook at home in a fully stocked kitchen including a gas BBQ. Other conveniences include nearby pharmacies and laundry services all within a 1-2 blocks (although a stackable washer/dryer is in the unit).

Don't like the beach?

Take a walk along the iconic Malecon. This is Puerto Vallarta's most popular attraction for tourists and locals. Discover the coffee shops where meeting friends old and new are a simple pleasure. Stroll Basilio Badillo aka 'Restaurant Row' and discover a new flavor or quench your thirst. There is plenty of nightly entertainment at the Palm and Act ll Theaters from jazz singers to drag shows, there’s something for everyone.

Discover Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco via the deluxe bus in 4 hours. While there, visit world-class restaurants, museums, the craft shops and art galleries of neighboring Tlaquepaque or Tonala.

With so many sites in Puerto Vallarta, it’s easy to walk the cobblestone streets and get lost in Gringo Gulch. Try the most amazing Sunday brunch at Hacienda San Angel (advanced reservations are a must). There is a guided house tour on Tuesdays and Wednesdays of hillside homes. If you want something a little different, take a water taxi to Ocean Grill for lunch (reservations are required and made on line). There are plenty of hiking trails that can take you to secluded beaches just south of Los Muertos Beach. The River Cuale has wonderful picnic areas and Zip Lines for the brave of heart. The sky is the limit.

Go to the rooftop and enjoy the bar service. While ordering your favorite libation, check out the infinity pool, two Jacuzzis and fire-pit. You can work out in the gym using all new equipment including: treadmills, Elliptical, stationary bike, universal and free weights. You can plant yourself on a chaise lounge and sunbathe while taking in the sensational views of the surrounding romantic zone, Banderas Bay and jungle.

Or just relax in the beautifully appointed condo with a good book or catch up on your favorite Netflix or Amazon shows, or perhaps listen to music and while the day away. The Bar Has Been Raised!!!!!!

WOW! I have just returned from an amazing week with my husband at this condo. I have stayed in many vacation rentals in Vallarta but this one is by far my only choice from now on! First, the neighborhood is ideal! Perched up above the Tropicana hotel it's easy to get anywhere and the views are spectacular. Pictures of the sunsets look like they've been photo-shopped! Second, the furnishings, colors and décor were top notch. The kitchen tile is stunning! We made use of the BBQ a couple of times and found it easy to use and convenient. It was nice having our own washer and dryer in the unit! Third, the D'Terrace building itself with the gym, Jacuzzi (which could have been a bit warmer) and infinity pool made it somewhat difficult to leave the building! We only wish we could stay longer and can't wait to return. This should be your only choice too in the Zona Romantica!
